What would the phases of the Earth look like from the surface of the moon

you would see the Earth go through phases (full Earth to new Earth and back). The difference would be the Earth would be rotating, so you would see different parts of the Earth in each phase. And new Earth would occur at the same time the moon was full to an Earth observer, so the dark Earth would be lit by reflected moonlight and by the lights of the cities.I think it would be quite lovely to see.......
I would assume the phases would be similar as the moon from the Earth: "new Earth", waning and waxing Earths and then a "full Earth".

If you were on the side of the moon facing the Earth, you would see the Earth go through phases (full Earth to new Earth and back).
The difference would be the Earth would be rotating, so you would see different parts of the Earth in each phase.

Yes, it would be the opposite of the Moon's phases from Earth. New Moon, full Earth. Full Moon, new Earth. Waning Moon, waxing Earth, etc.
