I don't know what it's called in english, but directly translated from Norwegian is "Starshot". Is a comet maybe the word I'm looking for? Anyways, what I mean is, like that shining "ball" you sometimes see at night that you see for about two seconds or something that flies on the sky in outer space. Is it a star? Also, does it land on the earth at some point? And how fast is it flying?

The popular name is "shooting star" or "falling star" but the correct name is "meteor." These are small pieces of interplanetary matter which enter the Earth's atmosphere and are heated to incandescence, causing a streak of light across the sky. These are quite different from comets, which are larger bodies in orbit around the Sun which move relatively slowly and don't enter the Earth's atmosphere. Some meteors do not vaporize completely and make it to Earth as meteorites.

It's a meteor or bolide, or "shooting star". It is NOT a star. It's essentially a rock of various sizes from boulders to clay sized dust particles that get caught by Earth's gravity field. Usually the meteor burn up because of friction with the atmosphere and all that reaches the surface is the dust , but sometimes meteors do survive to impact the surface. Then they are knows as meteorites. A generic term that includes meteors and meteorites is meteoroid. A bolide is just a larger rock that is brighter as it falls toward the surface. The speeds and accelerations of meteoroids can vary a lot for a number of reasons that I'm not going to go into. The Draconid meteor shower peaks in about 9 hours (?).
