I've been looking up online about this but can't seem to find a good answer that explains it well.

You never reverse BEDMAS. BEDMAS is a mathematical rule for which operations should be performed first in a mathematical equation.
BEDMAS is used when solving equations involving multiple mathematical operations (Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction)
Here is what BEDMAS Stands for.
Brackets
Exponents
Division
Multiplication
Addition
Subtraction
This means that in a mathematical equation, you should perform the operation first, that comes first.
for example.
5·5+2
First multiply 5 times 5 because multiplication comes before addition
=25+2
=27
Hope this helps!
