You're right, the first one is cross. The other one is longitudinal. Just remember that a cross section cuts across something while an longitudinal section cuts along it.
Picture a piece of grass. a cross section might look like a V with the main vein being the point of the V. A longitudinal section would be long and straight ________ the length of the blade.
Or, for a fish, a cross section would cut through the body and be in the shape of an O. A longitudinal section theough the center would have 1/2 of the head and tail, and have at least some of the fins.
For you, a cross section would go from front to back through your head, your belly, or your legs. A longitudinal section would cut down from the top dividing you into a left and right side, or a front and a back.
If you can picture these that way, it helps you remember which is which.
