Why it is important to study?

Acid Rain is seen in different forms in different parts of the world such as acid rain, acid fog and acid snow. Even where there is dry weather, acid dust and acid gas have been observed.
These acids come from air pollution produced when acid chemicals are incorporated into rain, snow, fog etc. The ACID is actually SULFUR OXIDES and NITROGEN OXIDES which are products of buring coal and other feul and from certain industrial processes. Sulfur and nitrogen oxides are released from power plants. The wind blow them far from their sources. The acid chemicals are in the air are blown into areas where the weather is wet, the acid can fall to the Earth in the rain or so.
In areas with dry weather these acid chemicals are mixed into dust or smokes which damae the environment, human helath, and properties.
I hope it will help you to have some idea.

Acid rain is a rain or any other form of precipitation that is unusually acidic, meaning that it possesses elevated levels of hydrogen ions (low pH). It can have harmful effects on plants, aquatic animals, and infrastructure.
Acid rain is caused by emissions of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides which react with the water molecules in the atmosphere to produce acids.
Governments have made efforts since the 1970s to reduce the release of sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere with positive results.
Nitrogen oxides can also be produced naturally by lightning strikes and sulfur dioxide is produced by volcanic eruptions.
The chemicals found in acid rain can cause paint to peel, corrosion of steel structures like bridges and stone statues to begin to appear old and worn down, which reduces their value and beauty.

it means that the rain is poisonous and that it is very dangerous. acid rain is usually caused by poplotion. it is iimportant to study because acid rains destroys our environment
-
Acid rain is caused when sulfur as a byproduct of combustion precipitates out of the atmosphere as sulfuric acid.
It eats buildings and kills vegetation, animals and people.

simply we can say that acid rain is due to reaction of oxides of nitrogen and sulphur in ozone with moisture producing sulphuric and nitric acid
