Is it good or bad?
Is it worth the long hours and hard work?
Is it anything like ER/Grey's Anatomy etc?
Lastly, would you recommend it? (I get very good grades, I am very smart and determined, so would you recommend it to me?)

It's hard to give you good advice without knowing how old you are. Middle school? High school? Undergrad?
1. Definitely good. You will probably never meet a doctor who hates their job.
2. Every career is hard work. The hardest part for some people is how long it takes. It takes:
4 years of university/college
4 years of medical school
2-7 years of residency( this is where you choose what type of doctor you want to be. You get paid during this time)
so training takes anywhere from 8-15 years (different types of doctors take different amount of time) I promise it sounds worse then it is. Not saying that its not hard, but trust me you'll probably enjoy most of it.
3. Well it depends on what type of doctor you want to be. Grey's anatomy is a surgical residency so all/most of those doctors want to be surgeons. What you choose may be more exciting or less exciting depending on what you choose.
4. Medicine is great field. Its certainly not for everyone though. Good grades are important, but its more important to be motivated and determined. I recommend volunteering at a local hospital to see if you're really interested or not.
