I dont know how long Dr. Murray stayed in the room after giving him the propofol, but I assume he waited until Jackson was asleep or long enough to fake sleeping. Why he would fake sleeping I dont know.-Sure, 25 mg is a small dose,......
Just given Michael Jackson's height at 5' 9" and weights 112 lbs. Not including all the other drugs he was given. Is it physically possible. I think he would be knocked out. I don't know how long Dr. Murray stayed in the room after giving him the propofol, but I assume he waited until Jackson was asleep or long enough to fake sleeping. Why he would fake sleeping I don't know.

Sure, 25 mg is a small dose, not enough to put anyone to sleep. Those doses are typically 60-200mg, depending on the age and size of the patient, concurrent medications, and individual variation.

60 mg might knock out an 80 yr old. Some young, fit men, or big drinkers with a huge tolerance to depressants, might need closer to 200 mg, or even a little bit more.

I haven't kept up with the story, but in addition to Pangolin's answer, you should keep in mind that one of the reasons propofol is so popular as a sedative in hospitals is that if you overshoot a little on the dose, you can cut it off, and the patient recovers in just a couple of minutes---very short times to clear.
