The great thing about a scientific theory is that it has to be falsifiable, that is in order to be accepted there has to be some way of testing it that could potentially prove it to be wrong. Being a scientist myself I have to be able to accept any theory could be proved wrong because that is a basic requirement of being a theory.
So that being said, it is over to you now to falsify the theory of evolution. If I were you I would take something which is taken as incontrovertible evidence in support of evolution. Can I suggest you find an explanation to falsify endogenous retrovirus insertions? That gives you two choices, you can prove that they don't actually exist (even though they do) or you can prove that chimps and humans don't have common retrovirus insertions (which they do).
When you have completely failed to do this you will realise that the reason I don't accept the possibility that evolution is wrong is the facts say it isn't wrong.

They can't accept the possibility of being wrong because they believe that they have solid proof that they are right; the changing of fossils of the same animal over thousands and millions of years. Natural selection is the reason for evolution, beneficial mutations in the genes of animals got passed down hundreds of generations to help survive. Whether it be from the simple change I the color of fur of polar bears from brown to white, or the extension of the beak of a bird that helped it reach more food.
Anyways, evolutionists cant face the fact that there is a possibility that they might be wrong because they firmly believe that the information that they have from fossils and carbon dating is the only explanation.
I am a Catholic, and I do not believe in creationism nor do I believe in evolution, if that makes any sense.
