You're asking how the universe came to be. Simple answer - we don't know. Best guess at present is the Big Bang. If new evidence disproves that, and supports a different theory, then opinions may change.
However, just because I don't know, I'm not going to simply label it all as the creation of a supernatural being known as god. There is no evidence for a god.
I expect you'll retort with "everything has to come from something!" Current logic suggests that to be true. But to then claim that god wasn't created - he was always there - is defined as special pleading. In other words, you're saying that there is only one exception - for the very god you believe in.

Well I can assure you that no imaginary little sky critters were involved...
ALL gods, their aliases, relations, progeny and domains are imaginary.
1. There is NO evidence which points to an imaginary psychopath in space suffering cerebral palsy, uncontrollably waving his arms about, creatin' stuff outa nothin' for no discernible reason.
2. Just by the SIMPLE act of looking around anyone can see that shït happens to all and sundry regardless of ANY thought, deed or circumstance, exactly as if there was NO invisible space chappie pulling any strings at all.
The world works exactly as you'd expect if there were no god.
I have no evidence to back up my belief that Universe is constantly expanding and collapsing like an oxygen machine… but it just makes more sense to me than an invisible sky guy who came from nowhere for no reason *poofing* all this out of nothing, just one time only.
It seems like a hell of a lot of effort to go to just so you can play psychotic games with mere humans offering them Heaven or Hell as a choice when everyone has not been given the same chances to pick the 'right box' AND ‘he’ already knows what the outcome is in any case… like, how stupid is that?
