In the first place, evolution, change over time, is not in question. It is a FACT, observed millions of times in the life of the earth. What may be open for discussion might be the methods by which that change has taken place and regulated, leading to the current diversity of life on this planet. That method is Natural selection acting upon random mutation, and it is accepted by virtually every professional biologist.
