Why won't humans survive in earth for 1000 years or more?

As noted earlier, the maximum Nf is 1.47 x 10^11.Plugging those numbers into our equation, the theoretical longest time we have left before we literally run out of room on earth to live is 269 years.That’s not a conservative number,......
i = yearly growth rate (percentage added per year)
t = time in years

For those unfamiliar with growth rate (i), let’s talk a little bit more about it to see how it works. Take a population of 100 that after a year grew to 101, that would be a yearly growth rate of 1 percent (i = 1/100 = .01). Or let’s take a population of 1000 that grew to 1015 in one year, that would be a yearly growth rate of 1.5 percent (i = 15/1000 = .015).

The current growth rate, i, is now about .01193, and Np is about 7 billion. As noted earlier, the maximum Nf is 1.47 x 10^11. Plugging those numbers into our equation, the theoretical longest time we have left before we literally run out of room on earth to live is 269 years. That’s not a conservative number, and most likely well before then we will start running into problems with overcrowding. (Even if there are dramatic advances in farming productivity, they will only give us a few extra decades at most.)

Unless God has plans for some sort of major calamity that would wipe out billions on earth (e.g. a comet collision), it would seem that Jesus would return well before 269 years from now while people were still saying “peace and safety” (1Th 5:3) because after that point, there will be no peace as everyone is at each other’s throats just trying to survive.

Chi girl say: Says who?
-
The Pale Horseman say: We probably will but it may be hard giving how we are ravaging the environment, not to mention stuff like antibiotic resistant bacteria.
-
tentofield say: The earth will die in about five billion years when the sun expands to become a red giant. Humans will be long extinct before then. Life has been on this planet for about 3.5 billion years and more than 99% of all species that have ever existed are now extinct. Homo sapiens has been around for about 250,000 years and will probably be extinct within a million years (not a thousand). We will either evolve into another species or wipe ourselves out with war and disease. Whatever happens to us, the planet will carry on regardless and new species will evolve until it all comes to an end.
