EDIT: I said ALL OVER the news. If it did prove life on Mars, then everyone would've heard about that story. I'll bet most people haven't. Why don't YOU pay attention?

It's a trick of light and shadow. It happens all the time with still frames. Every now and then by random chance one will resemble something that we recognize, such as a face. Look at the video again, and instead imagine that it's just the angle of the sun on a rock formation. Often images we think we see depend on how we are thinking of them at the time.

That's what you call "news" is it? Lord help us.

That is a rock about 4 inches high. It was towards one corner of a panoramic shot taken by one of the rovers. It is zoomed in to such a degree that it looks like a steep hillside.

I think so. The life on mars I read lives underground and the neighboring moon pheobos is where all the aliens visit.
