I have to make up a myth about a Constellation

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-10-27] [Hit: ]
Salmons swim northward instead of southward like many other types of fish. You could say that the Salmon was once a god that wanted to do its own thing rather than go with the group, so the other gods banished him into the heavens, forever to look like a salmon.-why dont you research the origins of the other constellations........
So I my mythical creature is a Fish, but now I need to come up with a name, what it is, and how and why it got banished in the sky. I have no clue what to write about :/ Help?

Thank you :)

Say that it looks like a Salmon. Salmons swim northward instead of southward like many other types of fish. You could say that the Salmon was once a god that wanted to do its own thing rather than go with the group, so the other gods banished him into the heavens, forever to look like a salmon.

why dont you research the origins of the other constellations... this should give you some material for thought. In fact it is believed by scholars that the constellations were known to Man even before the first civilisation Sumer.

Most of the constellations already have myths.

For example:

-
pick a fish and use info about it for your myth

Sharks
guppies
piranha
catfish
dolphins
