Do lithium-ion batteries produce radiation

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-10-29] [Hit: ]
IR radiation is non-ionizing.-Perhaps it went without saying, but thats, .........
If so, is it ionizing or non-ionizing radiation?

-
Everything above absolute zero produces radiation.  Li-ion batteries, like everything else, radiate in the thermal infrared.  IR radiation is non-ionizing.

-
Perhaps it went without saying, but that's, "... like everything else at ambient temperature, radiate primarily in the thermal infrared."

As for sources, just get into wikipedia and look up "black-body radiation." --
