Do you think the solar flairs form the sun are messing with the internet

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-08-07] [Hit: ]
You are exaggerating. One solar flare hit the Earth, not directly, on August 5. The next one will get to Earth on August 6/7. That is NOT all week.......
My internet connection has been bizaro.Any one else having this problem? I heard on the news the sun is having a big flair up all this week, and will cause Communication problems.

I haven't had any problems other than the ones I probably accidentally caused myself, or one of my cats walking on the keyboard.

Delete all the files in your Temporary Internet files folder and all the cookies in the Cookies folder and Empty the recycling bin. Also defragment your hard drive. Your computer will speed up, a lot, or else you have a one or more viruses or Trojan horse files on your hard-drive.

...SUBSIDING STORM: Earth's magnetic field is still reverberating from a CME strike on August 5th that sparked one of the strongest geomagnetic storms in years. Registering 8 on the 0 to 9 "K-index" scale of magnetic disturbances, the storm at maximum sparked auroras across Europe and in many northern-tier US states. Travis Novitsky sends this picture from Grand Portage, Minnesota:

"For an hour and a half the sky was filled with dancing lights, some of the best I've ever seen in Northern Minnesota!" says Novitsky.

The storm is subsiding now, but it could flare up again as gusty solar wind continues to buffet Earth's magnetic field. High-latitude sky watchers should remain alert for auroras. Aurora alerts: text, voice.
