You have only (1+x) as common factor,

(1+x)[(1+x)(-1)+(1-x)(2)] = (1+x)[-1-x+2-2x] = (1+x)(1-3x)

= (1+x)[–x– 2- 2x]
= (1+x)(–3x + 1)
