=> I2 = 3/60 = 0.so V(60) = 0.05 x 60 = 3 V and P = 3 x 0.05 = 0.......
I keep finding the wrong currents... and dont know what im doing wrong, please help!!

We were given a diagram of a circuit

there were loops in this rectangular circuit parallel to each other [ loop 1 | loop 2 ] < kinda like that. There were two voltage sources on the left side of each loop. The source on the left side of loop one was 9V and the source on the left side of loop 2 was 3V. There was a 20 ohm resistor on the top of loop one, and a 40 ohm resistor on the bottom of loop one. The last resistor was 60 ohms and on the right side of loop two.

The problem asks me

Using Kirchhoff’s Rules

Find the current through, voltage across, and the power dissipated by each of the resistors show in the circuit diagram.

Actual Answer:
20 ohms 0.1 A 2 V 0.2 W
40 ohms 0.1 A 4 V 0.4 W
60 ohms 0.05 A 3 V 0.15 W

I really appreciate your help!!

KVL at loop 1 gives :

3 - 9 + I1(20 + 40) = 0

=> I1 = 6 / (20 + 40) = 6/60 = 0.1 A at both 20 and 40 ohm resistors

=> V(20ohm) = 0.1 x 2 = 2V , P = VI = 2 x 0.1 = 0.2 W

and V(40) = 0.1 x 40 = 4V , P = 0.4 W

KVL at loop 2 gives

3 - I2 (60) = 0

=> I2 = 3/60 = 0.05 A

so V(60) = 0.05 x 60 = 3 V and P = 3 x 0.05 = 0.15 W

hope it's clear
