"pathophysiology" means the abnormal function of a system due to some disorder. Mention the changes that are MEASUREABLE in a test and EXPLAIN why these changes occur due to the actual pathology (the changes that occur in the cells/molecules that cause the disease).

Risk factors (age sex habits genes etc) --> pathology (cellular/molecular changes of disease) --> pathophysiology (changes in function of these cells causes changes in systemic function) --> leads to measurable changes in tests

Well keep in mind that often pathology is abnormal physiology or sometimes called pathophysiology.
