Usually for a division you look at the times where you get a divide by zero which is not defined.domain of x (x not equal to -5 and x not equal to 7) so x can be any number except those numbers.......
3x-2/(x+5)(x-7)
please and thank you.

-
(-infinity,-5)U(-5,7)U(7,infinity)

The domain of this function is all legitimate values of x that this function can accept.

Usually for a division you look at the times where you get a divide by zero which is not defined.

So for this problem the domain would be any x except -5 and 7 since which would be written

domain of x (x not equal to -5 and x not equal to 7) so x can be any number except those numbers.
