What is an ouija board

Six people so far have said what it is, they are correct in essence as to what the board actually is but completely wrong in it's so called ability to contact DEAD people.

The board is a toy and was patented as such in 1892, it is no more dangerous than a Snakes & Ladders board which is why any child can purchase one unaccompanied at any toy store.

Some people do genuinely get disturbed by trying to contact DEAD people using it, but that's all in their own minds, they would get just as disturbed by other so called methods of trying to do the same.

EDIT: Have you read my links carefully Adam and Scooter? If you can contact a dead person, James Randi will give you $1,000,000. It would be quite easy to set up a protocol for such a challenge, this protocol has to be agreed by both parties, the challenger can even suggest a judge agreed by both and the $1,000,000 is a legally binding contract, if you can prove what you claim the JREF forum have to pay.

Yep just as other people said its a board with letters/number on used for contacting spirits.

And Ron...that is not true, i have seen many people use a Ouija Board and i've used one myself and all the times ive seen the pointer has moved on its own accord. Explain that one to me? And yes it was on sale to start with, thats because they didnt know what it could do. Why do you think they took them off the shelf?
