When you divide my number by 5 , the remainder is 4

I really need help with that one ! And this one !!
" My number has two digits , and both digits are even"
" The sum of digits is 10"

a number that is divided by 5 with a remainder of 4 will end with either a 4 or 9 because all multiples of 5 end with 5 or 0.

if both digits are even then it will end with 4

if both digits add up to 10 then you will get 64

1) List the numbers from 1 to 10, and next to each write the remainder when divided by five. This should give you a good start on the first one.

2) Write a list of even numbers, and next to each one write the difference between that number and ten. For example, next to 2, write 8, and next to 4 write 6.
This will be a big help.

M/5 = K + 4/5 (where K is an integer)
M = 5(K + 4/5) = 5K + 4

this means that M either ends with 4 or 9
"both digits are even"
then the last digit cannot be 9, therefore it must be 4
24/5 = 4 + 4/5
44/5 = 8 + 4/5
64/5 = 12 + 4/5 <-----
84/5 = 16 + 4/5

Since the two digits must add up to 10...
6 + 4

the number is 64 the two digits add to be to

and 64 divided by 5 is 12 remainder 4

um, your number could be anything thats a multiple of five, +4. ex(9, 14, etc)
and your second number could be 28 or 46 or 82 or 64.
