I got stitches on my cheek yesterday. Today they look like they have barely come a little loose, though. Do they double-knot them, or is it okay that they are coming undone a little?

It is normal for them to loosen as swelling goes down. If you are concerned, call your doctor.

Are the stitches supposed to be removed or are they going to disintegrate on their own? Make sure you keep the area clean. Use a triple antibiotic cream and keep the area as clean as possible. You may be able to contact the doctor tomorrow and let the nurse know that this is happening. If it is a real concern they will call you in to correct the problem. Hope they heal quickly!

Stitches are usually several interlocking "knots", however they should not untie. You can support the suture line by using steristrips or butterflies. If they fall out, they can not be replaced. Support the line and call your doc in the am.
