It night be bed bugs. I had bed bugs sometime last year and aat first I thought they were spider bites, then I thought I was going crazy. I started thinking about bed bugs and always checked for them. I would lay in bed at night and feel the bite, and look at where ever it was and NOTHING was there. I finally had an exterminator come out and brought a dog with him and sure enough it was bed bugs. He said that there weren't many and he showed me one of the babies, they are impossible to see unless they are on you skin and filled with blood because they are about the size of a needle hole and clear. I would have him sleep in a different bed and if he doesn't wake up with any new bites than its probably bed bugs. Still I say call someone to come out now. It cost me $2050.00 for them to come out and do my whole house. In the mean time take him to the doctors. Any type of bite can cause a staph infection, and chances are greater if there are a larger amount of bites. HTH good luck!

You need to give more details. Where are the bites located? Mainly on extremities or all over his body? Are the bites lined up in rows of three or more? Do you find new bites at all times of the day or just in the morning when he wakes up? New bites every day or just on some days?
