I need to know, one of my friends just was rushed away via ambulance and i wanted to know what would have happened if she wasnt found? Would she be okay in the morning? In pain what?
I have found this happening a bit and i would like to know. Advil? Naproxen, how much would need to be taken to the point of it being life threatening and or very damaging? Is there a website that has more information on this?
I would like to be more educated when something of this sort happens to a friend, it helps my anxiety level when i know and a friend is shipped off to the hospital, or if a friend confides in me before hand in curiosity i can tell them the pain they will expierence and facts of that such to lead them away from it!

First of all, was it advil or aleve/naproxen? One of the biggest risks with either medication is bleeding in the gastrointestinal system (stomach & intestines). The bleeding can be very life threatening and your friend took an extraordinary amount. The typical dose of naproxen is only 375 mg. She took 10 times the safe dose.
Her breathing could also slow down to a dangerous level and possibly she could go into a coma because this medicine can slow down normal brain function.
Depending on how long ago she took the medication, more than likely, she will have her stomach "pumped". In other words, what is in her stomach will sucked out by a tube that goes down her throat and into her stomach. It's not comfortable, but it could save her life.
