Is it okay to take 4 Excedrin pills at a time

I have terrible migraines everyday for almost 2 years (I'm 15). The doctors are terrible, and don't help at all. I barely took any medicine, ever, because I didn't want to get used to them but when I did take some nothing would help, not even Vicodin (strong, narcotic medicine).

I already take 3 Excedrins every day (I know it's bad for my health, but right now the circumstances require me to do that). I have stomach problems now and other side effects but it's starting to not help AT ALL. Would it be ok to take 4 Excedrin pills at a time or should I ask my doctor for stronger medicine (which I definitely don't want to do)??

You shouldn't be taking over what is prescribed. Medications, whether they are given by a doctor or over the counter are dangerous to begin with, so over doing it isn't good. Also I am pretty sure with excedrin, that you can get severe liver damage like with other pain killers. I would read the label for the warnings of taking more than needed. If you are having severe migranes and nothing helps, go to your doctor and tell him that it is not working. I am 18 and I had the same problem. The only thing was, my doctor thought I might have had a brain tumor with the symptoms I was showing so I went to get an MRI done and all they saw was that my sinuses were acting up. They weren't the cause of the headaches funny enough. Just ask your doctor what medication he can prescribe other than over the counter excedrins.
