First, I'm an adult learning going back to community college.
All my life I've done super well at business math, accounting, general math, consumer math classes. I've aced. Sleep through half the class and still pass it with a B+ to A-.
When it comes to pre algebra, I do good. B to B+. I hold my own. Struggle, but I do good. When it comes to algebra or higher, no matter I flunk.
D+ to C if I'm lucky. Even with a lot of help from the instructors, fellow classmates and campus tutors, I'm lucky if I can pass anything higher than Algebra with a C.
What's going on? Is there some underlying issue going on here??
