i have been wearing glasses since year 3 i think that's 2nd grade in american terms, and I'm sick to death of them. recently people have been saying that i would look much better with out them, and i don't have enough for laser eye surgery and i am only 13, but i read about over night contact lenses and how they re-shape your eyes in a period of a month and i really would like to try it out, but i don't really want to waist my money, do they really work? and if they don't is there any way to improve your eye sight? thank you.

They work for some problems but it's a temporary fix. If you are a candidate, and only your eye doctor can tell you, you will need treatment indefinitely.
Why don't you just get regular contacts?
edit: She isn't talking about extended wear contacts. You can get contacts that temporary reshape you eye, improving some but not all vision problems.

Like any contact lenses, they can correct your sight (with a few exceptions). However, they are only a replacement for glasses, not a miracle cure. The only real difference between them and other contacts is you can leave them in overnight instead of having to take them out every night.

I've never heard of them improving sight but I know that I've wore some lenses that I wore asleep
One time I slept with normal lenses in and all it does is sting your eyes Abit
It's definetly worth the try
