Yes, Uranus IS BARELY visible with the naked eye. but you have to know WHERE AND WHEN to look. and it really helps to use at least binoculars.. Yes, i have seen ALL of those planets "naked' eye, but vision is corrected. I often take my galsses off when i use binoculars. i am nearsighted.

I think I've seen Neptune with binoculars or with a telescope, but my telescope is now useless since the eyepieces were never returned when My telescope was stolen in 2010. The telescope and mount were returned but not the eyepieces.

Allan say: I would say offhand that if you can see your own feet you can see the earth, but there are a few professional astronomers that tried to observe Mercury and blinded themselves trying because it is so close to the sun...

I've personally seen Venus, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn and obviously Earth.

Generally speaking Jupiter and Saturn are the easiest to identify, because most of the time you can see Saturn's Rings, but Jupiter's four largest moons are just as distinctive.... and I've never seen Jupiter and not seen three moons...

Typically Mars can be seen as reddish without magnification as can the stars Betelgeuse and Bellatrix. Both are stars in the constellation Orion

duke_of_urls say: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

If you view from one of the darkest areas of Earth, and you have excellent eyesight, and you know exactly where to look, it is possible to see Uranus.

Neptune cannot be seen from Earth with the naked eye. It is 50% farther from the Sun than Uranus.
