Help with math?
A delivery truck drove 4545 miles per hour. It took 33 hours to travel between two towns. What is the distance between the two towns? Use the equation dequals=rt, where d is distance, r is rate, and t is time.

answers:
Brandon say: 4545 miles an hour? Sorry but the driver will not be arriving. He is dead
-
Ricki say: use the equation, substitute and solve.
-
D.W. say: 33 hours × 4545 miles/hour = 33×4545 miles = 149985 miles
-
Jim Moor say: If you don't remember the formula, use Unit Cancellation, multiplying by (1).

You always start with the 'given', in this case 33 hours.

33 hours (45mi/hr) the hr top & bottom cancels, leaving miles on top.
1485 mi

Krishnamurthy say: d = rt
d = 45(3)
The distance between the two towns is 135 miles.

I think you repeated some numbers. So I'll assume you meant:

A delivery truck drove 45 miles per hour. It took 3 hours to travel between two towns. What is the distance between the two towns?

45 miles/hour * 3 hours = 135 miles
-
Jake No Chat say: d = 4545 * 33
d = 149,985 miles
(PS that truck can really move out)
-
Chris say: 4545 Miles in one hour
Multiply that by 33/33 i get

149985 Miles in 33 hours.

This also follows your equation, distance=rate*time
R=4545 mi/hr
T=33 hrs
4545 mi/hr*33 hrs= 149985 Mi
-
Dollar Bill say: That is very fast for a delivery truck.
149985 miles.
If it were only 45 MPH it would be 1485 miles.
