You can simply look up star data on Wikipedia.
Hamal (alpha arietis) is about 66 ly from earth, Sheratan (beta) is about 58. Since they are in rough parallax (they seem close together when seen from earth) one can say that they are around 8 ly distant from each other.
This is a shade further than Barnard's Star is from our sun.

"looked everywhere for it" - riiiiight.
Alpha Arietis is 66 light years from Earth.
Beta Arietis is 59.6 light years from Earth.
So, they must be 6.4 light years apart.
Wikipedia or any astronomy website has all kinds of scientific data.

alpha is roughly 66ly, beta is about 58ly from the sun. So they are roughly 8 light years apart.
