Who's smarter - It's a tie. A gorilla will have a cat for a pet and be gentle with him/her, but a lion would eat it.
Who's stronger - The lion although one primate (I think it's the ape) is said to be 3 X stronger than a human primate.
Who's more aggressive - The lion.

Well actually, i find that most of "DW's" answers are incorrect.
This is what i am 99.99% sure that is true.
Smarter- absolutely the gorilla... think about it... it is a primate
Stronger- The gorilla... it has the strength of 37 men combined!!
More Aggressive - This one depends if the gorilla is mad, then it is more aggressive, but if the lion is mad then the title goes to the lion.
Better Alpha- Lion
Better Pride -Lion
Better Moms- Definately Gorillas
Better Protection- Gorillas
Better fighters - Gorillas, could easily kill a lion
Better parents - Gorillas
Larger Family- well this one if indefinable. It could be either or.
Over-all better- Well in my opinion, the gorilla is because it is more evolved.
