You can't solve it by hand. A calculator will give you the answer.

Xcos(23)=4.97 Divide by Cos(23)
X= 4.97/cos(23)
Xcos(23)=4.97 Divide by Cos(23)
X= 4.97/cos(23)

Just use your calculator to find cos(23).
ans
x = 4.97 / cos(23)
ans
x = 4.97 / cos(23)

Assuming it's 23 degree's then your calculator should be able to work this out.
so
x=4.97/cos(23)
so
x=4.97/cos(23)
