In the light of Hurricane Issac, it just got me thinking. I am planning out my senior trip to FL for next summer, and want to know the dates so I can be able to plan a back up should I need to use it.

Hurricane season over the Atlantic basin, including that area, runs from June 1st through November 30th, though note that that is for the entire Atlantic basin, including the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. In any given year the chance that a hurricane will affect a specific location is quite small
