Most back pain resolves within six weeks, so it may make little difference what treatment you seek. My bias is to seek a good Western Medicine doctor who does a thorough evaluation to ascertain that there is not a more serious underlying cause. That doesn't mean he/she needs to order an MRI with every twinge.

See a M.D. if your traditional chinese physician is an actual medical doctor then go right ahead, but do't get roped into scheduling an appointment every week for the next month like so many chiropractors and other phonies will propose. see a doctor, let him diagnose you and get you the adequate treatment.
