2(x-3)+8>4x-(2+2x) please help

is the solution set empty??? or what is the answer?

2(x - 3) + 8 > 4x - (2 + 2x)

2x - 6 + 8 > 4x - 2 - 2x

2x - 2 > 2x - 2

There is no solution (i.e. the empty set).

2x+2 > 2x-2
2 > -2
True for all real values of x
