Why should we take responsibility for our actions if human behavior is fully determined

-No, although many (often liberal) people seem to thing like this was all there is to our life.It is not always valid to blame genetics, as you always have choices you can make. Many people overcome genetic and environment problems. The basis for this argument is,......
by genetic and environmental factors?

Isn't it always valid to blame our genetics and environment for our behavior? If so, how are we ultimately responsible for our actions?

God gave your free will. Even when you remove God from the equation. you STILL have free will. Are you going to let your hormones and natural instincts control your behavior, or ar you going to use your intelligence and free will to determine your behavior.? Many people never do learn HOW to use their intelligence and free will to control their behavior A cold shower works only for so long when you are horny and your instincts and hormones are demanding that you procreate. so the species can continue.

THAT is why you EVENTUALLY HAVE to take responsibility for your own actions. Are YOU or your children going to survive.

No, although many (often "liberal") people seem to thing like this was all there is to our life.

It is not always valid to blame genetics, as you always have choices you can make. Many people overcome "genetic" and "environment" problems.

The basis for this argument is, as far as I know, based on pseudo-scientific concepts, that no one can be blamed for anything.

A strange thought just came to me... If this is so, then it cannot have been "Bush" that made all the problems we face and overcome.

Because the fact that you have to live with the results of your actions
needs to be part of the determination.
Birchard simply says that you're a 'meat computer', programed for survival,
who's actions may be predicted.
That shouldn't prevent you from being the best computer you can manage to be.
It's 'predictable' that a healthy, (sane), meat computer will do that.

What you say, i believe to be true. when someone takes a brain altering antidepressant or antipsychotic, it can bring a huge change in their thoughts and actions.
