Why does this reaction proceed? (Why does it react)

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-08-27] [Hit: ]
-It reacts because iron(III) carbonate is insoluble, so a double displacement reaction takes place.......
why does this react? iron (III) Acetate and sodium carbonate dissolved into water.

PLEASE HELP!!!

It reacts because iron(III) carbonate is insoluble, so a double displacement reaction takes place.

iron (III) Acetate + sodium carbonate ---> sodium acetate + iron(III) carbonate

2Fe3+(aq) + 3CO3 2-(aq) ----> Fe2(CO3)3
