Natural Selection isn't entirely accidental; individuals that have characteristics that provide an advantage, that might have arisen as accidental mutations, mean that the individuals concerned are likely to be able to reproduce more so that the advantageous characteristic becomes more widespread in their lines. Multiply this more times than you can imagine and you end up with the various species, including us - and even we as a species still have "imperfect" characteristics.
Individuals with advantageous characteristics might still preserve non-advantageous mutations, but the lines of those without the more advantageous characteristics might eventually die out.

Monkeys CAN'T give birth to humans. That is NOT what Evolution says.
Humans, and monkeys do have a common ancestor, but, we split 2 million years ago. Evolution is NOT one animal turning in to another, but, the constant change of an animal. It may, over time, split into many others, much as a single tree root will spawn many branches, who spawn other branches, and so on. So, something much like a squirrel 50 million years ago split, and split, and split, to become many of the mammals that live today.
That is a fact that most people fully accept, be they religious, or atheist.

I wouldn't call it a fact. I'd call it a solidly proven theory.
It is, however, so well proven that we can depend on it being true, just as we can depend on the theory of gravity--which has been used to plot complicated courses for space vehicles in places where we'd never directly observed the gravity before sending those vehicles there.
