Nikki say: the newest type of theory is the quantum fluctuation, sometimes called the big-bounce. it combines classical and einstein physics with newer quantum math to see the "before" and "after" of the universe development. there is no actual creation from from an outside source, the universe evolved from it own inherent qualities.
for me, this is similar to the buddhist theory that life, from the smallest ant to largest universe, goes through a cycle of birth, aging, decline, and death; since life and death arise from and return to the original life, there is nothing created, we are life manifesting our self. we have evolved into human beings according to our causes from the past, since we are human, this is why consciousness, and self-consciousness exists as awareness.
denial of self is what creates the god theory that we are created from an outside self. the adornment of this god with magic, seems to answer for the self-denial. but, also exposes its source.

New discoveries have been made about another universe whose collapse appears to have given birth to the one we have today. The research introduces a new mathematical model that gives new details about the beginning of our universe, which now appears to have been a Big Bounce, according to a new theory of quantum gravity, and not a Big Bang, as described by Einstein's Theory of General Relativity.

Bojowald reached an additional conclusion after finding that at least one of the parameters of the previous universe did not survive its trip through the Big Bounce -- that successive universes likely will not be perfect replicas of each other. He said, "the eternal recurrence of absolutely identical universes would seem to be prevented by the apparent existence of an intrinsic cosmic forgetfulness."
