Is there a PCI card that i can use for radio astronomy

but I doubt it. It takes a lot more than just having the right PCI card and dishes. In fact, a dish antenna may NOT be the best one to use as a starter project. You have a better chance of a good project if you try for Jupiter at 18 to 28 MHz, or the sun at about 130 -150 Mhz.......
I have recently gotten a hold of a few satellite dishes on large and two small, is there a type of pci card i can get a hold of that can be used for radio astronomy, or a site for diy type stuff?

Satellite signals are usually in the 4 - 8 GHz band, or the 12 - 18 GHz band. The dishes *might* work in one of the radio astronomy bands, specifically 1.4 - 1.427 GHz, but I doubt it. It takes a lot more than just having the right PCI card and dishes. In fact, a dish antenna may NOT be the best one to use as a starter project.
