15x - 3 = 32x + 12
-3 = 17x + 12 {subtracted 15x from both sides}
-15 = 17x {subtracted 12 from both sides}
x = -15/17 {divided both sides by 17}

15x-3=32x+12
plus 3 both sides, minus 32 because u want the X's to be on the left, but it doesnt matter, anyway
NEGATIVE 17x = positive 15
divide
x= NEGATIVE 15 OVER 17 -15/17

I agree with the above answers leading to x = -15/17. Get the Xs on one side and the numbers on the other side. Then divide both sides with the # in front of X to get your X by itself. U then have ur answer.

15x - 3 = 32x + 12
+3 to both sides
-32x to both sides
-17x=15
Divide by -17
x=-15/17
+3 to both sides
-32x to both sides
-17x=15
Divide by -17
x=-15/17
-
15x-3=32x+12
-3+(-12)=32x-15x{Transpose 15x and 12)
-15=17x
x=-15/17
-3+(-12)=32x-15x{Transpose 15x and 12)
-15=17x
x=-15/17
