It's been annoyingly hot in California, but the temperatures keep rising and falling all the time. It goes from 77 degrees on Sunday, 74 degrees on Monday, and 80 on Tuesday. On Wednesday, it was supposed to be 84 degrees, but it was cold all day. Yesterday is was hot again. Today it rained for three minutes and now the sun is coming out!
Why is it so weird? Has California always been this year. I'm literally getting sick from the weather.

You're talking about a 10 degree temperature fluctuation over the course of a week... there's nothing unusual about that anywhere this time of year, let alone California. We're in the middle of changing seasons. The weather is going to be a little unpredictable for awhile.
Hell, here in Illinois we went from a high of 50 on Monday, to 60 and raining midweek, to 80 yesterday to 65 today. You think you've got it bad, move to the midwest. And that's COMPLETELY normal for us.

The weather you describe is normal for this time of year in Southern California.

It's because we live in the west coast where all the wind comes from and wind is always unpredictable
