Why would a hurricane thats in the Atlantic Ocean hit a state that's on the west coast and that's near the Pacific Ocean?

Unless you got an exchange program to swap earthquakes with hurricanes with Mother Nature you should be just fine.

No,you have absolutely nothing to worry about.it is on the East side of America,not the West.It would never travel that far.Don't worry!
