What effect will this have on our earth?
-
Obama would do something right.
-
Well, the biggest change would be the tides of the ocean. To get tides, we need the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun to resist each other. Also, the chances of lunar and solar eclipses occuring would be far more rare, as the only other way to see one, is Venus and Mercury to come in between us of our Sun. The sky would become far dimmer, as the only lights available left, are the stars (that is, if you don't live in a light polluted area). Animals also depend on the moon for hunting and hiding advantages.
-
There will be many effects like motion of tides, lack of solar and lunar eclipses, lack of phases of moon which may affect many animals which're migratory and those hunt their pray at night like owl etc. These problems will affect our ecology to a little extent.
-
we would all eventually die. there is a lot of info and stuff in between but the fact remains the same, human beings and other life forms cannot live on a planet with no moon.
-
the earth would stop spinning on its axis and start spinning wildly in all direction..ending seasons, and days, and nights... and life on earth
-
no tides, no eclipses, no time variation and when u stick ur rear end out the window to a truck driver, they'd call it "
sunning"
sunning"
-
I dont know if this is correct or not. But i have heard that the rays from the moon are cool and helps o keep the earth cool
-
The moon causes high tides and low tides, so without the moon there would be no waves.
-
We'd need a gianormous nightlight lol
Well I think it'll somehow affect the ocean...I think

There would be no tides, no light at night, etc.
-
Where would I get my Cheese.
-
The moon affects our tides. There would be no night.
-
it would have a effect on the tides and we would be able to see the stars
-
dark nights...no more tides...and we may end up losing gravity itself
