Nothing happens. Your life comes to an end. Nothing more goes on. No heaven to aspire to but you're dead and beyond caring about that... but no hell to fear either, so that's a good thing.

Eternity in heaven. No idea what heaven is but it's probably pretty good. Better than here, in any case. Or there's hell, which I believe is less an eternity of pain and suffering, more of a release into darkness and nothingness...rather more like the atheist view of what lies beyond death. I don't believe God would create you, only to punish you for not measuring up to his standards. If He made you, He understands you're fallible. I think God's actually a lot more forgiving than the assorted formal religions would have you believe.
So there it is. Four possible results, one positive, three neutral. You have everything to gain and literally nothing to lose. If dying is the end of the world - YOUR world - what do you care? It's over and done. And if it's not...I think the next world is more marvelous than any of us can imagine.
because, as people we are frightened of the unknown, some people say there is no such thing as something because of their fear of it since there isn't much known about it, to be honest right before you die, the last second or two would be the most peaceful moment in your life, after you die, as a spirit, you will know that death is truly a part of life, animals are so brave because they live with the expectation of dieing (that is what my friend who is a vet told me) and by that it kinda taught me that in life you do what you want and can, go beyond what danger is, everyone had picked a time and date and sometimes even a way to die before they were born into this world, i think that you are afraid of death because of what i mentioned before, that what happens after death is unknown so your afraid of that, about losing your family... again death is a part of life, and you chose when you wanted to die before you came to earth, they wont be in pain once they are gone, and im sure that if you are in to much despair after they pass away they will send you a message or connect with you somehow about how peaceful and nice it really is.
