Is The World Going To End In December 2012? (Next Year)

I know a lot of people say it will not end and some say it will. But can you provide me with any science proof? I am skeptical both ways. Please no weird answers. Thanks.

As surely as it ended this year. "People" were so sure that the Rapture would sweep them away and that comet Elenin and the Supermoon would destroy everything left behind. It never ceases to surprise me at how short is people's memory.

No the world is not going to end. There is no scientific evidence to prove this, and this is purely based on religious belief. People say it may end in 2012 because that is when the Mayans ended their calendar, which is no convincing reason that the world will end. I can assure you it won't.

No! People say that the world will really end but no. December 21st or 24th are the predictions of the world to end. On those days all the planets will all a line with each other. It will defiantly not be the end of the world, but there will be something major going to happen on those days.
