000 hours to become an expert at something, and I would like to know how long that would take if I practiced something for say 3 hours every day (in years please)-It is 10 000 hours and you are practicing 3 hours a day.Divide 10 000 hours by 3 hours to get the number of days it would require. It would take you 3333.33333 days.Divide 3333.......
Ok, so apparently it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at something, and I would like to know how long that would take if I practiced something for say 3 hours every day (in years please)

It is 10 000 hours and you are practicing 3 hours a day.

Divide 10 000 hours by 3 hours to get the number of days it would require.

It would take you 3333.33333 days.

Now 1 year has 365 days (ignoring leap years)

Divide 3333.333333 days by 365.

It would take you approximately 9.13 years.

Here is a better idea of how long it would take (including leap years)

It would take you

9 years, 1 month, 2 weeks, and 3 days

That is, of course, if you practice 3 hours a day, no more, no less.

well, you want a total of 10 000 hours but only 3 hours per day

divide 10000 by 3

10000/3 = 3333.3 days

since there are 365 days in a year (ignoring leap years)

3333.3/365=9.13 years

So approximately 9.13 years.

However I have no idea how legitimate that statement of 10 000 hours is...

Cheers

you will figure it out if pi times r squared is area and pid=circumfrance
These formulas can even serve as the definition of the trigonometric functions for complex arguments x
