How would you describe this paranormal experience

Every now and then I get a strange feeling, I walk to the kitchen window and a tall ghost man walks by the window, my eyes almost instantaneously well up with tears because I get this huge feeling of stabbing pain in my left side. He never looks at me or anything just walks by and disappears down by the bottom of our yard near a creek about 75 yards away...Another strange thing is he always shows up after a large fight happens in the house. Our house was built and 1976 and it's been in the family ever since, no stories of tragedy near or in the house have ever surfaced. So what could be with this man?

You sound like a sensitive. A person who can feel peoples emotions more so than others.
Since the ghost thing isn't actually in your house, perhaps he didn't die in your house. Maybe he died NEAR your house. Like a car crash, or something. Or maybe he was shot/stabbed in the side{Since you are a sensitive, you could probably feel his pain, or perhaps he was just tryna show you how he died?}.
I think he may have died near that creek you were talking about. Ghosts tend to linger around where they died.
I don't think he means you any harm. When he shows up after fights, he may just want to see if your all okay, or something such as that.
Anyway, you could check into your local library to see if anybody ever died nearby.

Most likely, even though there aren't any records of him having died next to your house...he most likely did. The reason he probably comes near your house after a fight is because he is drawn in by the energy you guys are all putting off. The pain you feel, might be the pain of the spirit...maybe he was stabbed?

Probably a burglar.
