Ive experienced a few things.
The first thing I ever experienced in my
house was when I was younger on the first night that we moved in. It was about one in the morning, and for some reason I had randomly woken up. I opened my eyes, and at the foot of my bed was a tall, rather well-built man looking at me. Thinking it was my father, I opened my mouth to say something, but I was practically frozen. All of a sudden, I felt very calm and serene and drifted back to sleep. The next morning I asked my dad if he had been in my room the previous night, and he said no, my mom confirming this.
The second experience in my own home was a few months ago. It was around eight, and I was reading a book on the floor of my parent's room when I saw a shadow pass me suddenly, as if in a hurry.
The third was just yesterday, I was in my brother Michael's room, and as I was going to walk out the door, the door on the opposite side of the room opened. Not just breeze opened, but the door unlocked itself and twisted the doorknob. I was home alone.
At my grandmothers house in a fairly old area of Dallas, I once saw a plump African-American woman wearing an apron in the kitchen. I opened my mouth to say something, and she gave me a rather apologetic smile and briskly disappeared.
I never feel alone at my grandmothers house, and I firmly believe that the woman I saw was a good natured spirit, perhaps of a slave from the 1800s.
Outside of any house, I went to the Emily Morgan hotel in San Antonio for a weekend. The moment I walked in, I felt bubbles in my ears, as if I just got on an airplane.
That night, I heard creaking and doors opening, but thought it was just other people. I looked into the hallway, and it was empty.
The first negative paranormal experience I had was at that hotel. I had a dream that a man, pale and sickly looking, told me, in my hotel room, to "Get the **** out." My mom had the same dream apparently, and we did, indeed, get the **** out.
