Is my house haunted? (10 points)

This has never happened before until last night. Me and my sister share a room, so we were laying in bed around 11:00 last night. We heard a big boom on the house, but it kinda sounded like something fell off a shelf. (My mom and her boyfriend are at work at the time). The only person here was my mom's boyfriend's daughter, and she was sleeping. So we just let it go. Then we heard a woman's voice say "Hello?". Then later on, we heard something sounding like a cup being set on a table. But once again, no one was home, and it wasn't my mom's boyfriend's kid. I don't know if this is very important, but I tasted a poison taste in my mouth. As if someone sprayed perfume directly in my mouth. A few minutes later, my dog started growling at nothing in the hallway (my door was open) and would just stare over there. We shut the door, and she would still stare over there. And then we just kept hearing random noises after that. Like beeping noises. I have no idea what the history of this house is, we moved in here a few months ago. It was rented, so i'm sure plenty of people have lived here. Thanks for answering!
